The Puente-Navarros

Alberto & Ashley Puente-Navarro, along with their brother and sister-in-law, began Faith Baptist Church (Nervión) of Seville in 2012, and then opened a new ministry in La Macarena in 2016. More recently, they’ve been encouraged to see that discipleship is taking place at a membership level, and they have finished their first two-year pastoral internship program.

They have started the process of purchasing a building and are seeing how God is providing for this. The Puente-Navarros hope to see more people come to Christ, and more disciples be made, to continue training more leaders for the local church, and to bless more church planters across Spain with encouragement and fellowship.

We have seen great victories as the Lord is saving people, growing our church in the knowledge of Christ, and raising shepherds for our growing church family. We have seen the Lord unite our church in the midst of opposition and tribulations. We have also seen the Lord make provisions for our church building that we are very close to putting in our name.

Pray for God to save many more people as we proclaim the Gospel in our city. Pray for God to make us a more hospitable and generous family. Pray that God will lift our eyes up to take the Gospel to areas near and far where the Gospel has not been heard clearly. Pray for our training initiatives to grow in their capacity to train more pastors and aspiring pastors.

We hope to see the Lord bring to fruition the purchase of our building. We are very close to our goal. We’d love to see this building in our name this year.
