Serve

One of the marks of discipleship is the desire to serve those inside and outside the church. At Grace Bible, we function as a family where everyone chips in and serves where they are able and gifted. Below are some of the main ways you can jump in and serve – feel free to apply to serve in any of these areas, and the ministry leader responsible for that area will get in touch with you regarding next steps.

Serve in Grace Kids

Volunteers in Grace Kids minister to our birth through 5th grade children during our weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling stories and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, or provide assistance to classroom teachers.

Serve in Student Ministries

Volunteers in our Student Ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship, and intentional discipleship. On Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30, they greet students, set up events, lead small groups, and shepherd students outside of the mid-week program.

Serve on a First Impressions Team

Our First Impressions teams include Hospitality, Serving Communion, Greeting, and staffing our Info Booth. These teams serve on a once-a-month rotation, and are for people who enjoy making others feel welcome and at home when they walk in through the doors.

Serve on the Worship Team

Volunteers on our Worship Team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
