About the McClains
After four years of church planting near downtown L.A., the Lord began to place a burden on the hearts of Brodie and Katie McClain for unreached and unchurched areas across the globe. After a lot of prayer and a short-term trip, the Lord led them to the Republic of Georgia as the answer to this prayer. Working with a fellowship of national believers, the goal is to see a gospel church planted in each of the 6000 villages across the country.
They have established an English school as an outreach, which is a fairly intense program that has continued to grow. God has been working mightily through the school, using it to endear them to the community and allowing them to gain the trust of those they live amongst. Brodie is also pastoring a small church plant in a neighboring city, where they have recently secured a new building and are seeing the church thrive and grow.
Ministry Update & Prayer Requests
How has the lord been at work in your ministry this past year?
We’ve added seven new students to our Alpha Omega School in the first two weeks and are getting prepped to host our first region-wide event. One teacher from another school recently asked our director (Katie), “Are we allowed to invite other schools too?!?” (…we said yes).
Our Kutaisi church plant is also in full swing now with the start of a new semester, and there are already gatherings planned every day except Monday in our new building. Students are spearheading meals together, signs for the church, outreach cards, a worship karaoke night, and a few of them are ready to move into our attached apartments.
Our Didi Tchkoni youth group has also met twice already and is a cool mix of both Alpha Omega students and neighborhood friends.

Kutaisi Church Plant – With our new building and a new school year starting, we have many opportunities for both our church and for outreach – wisdom, direction, and shared leadership
New Staff – We are always praying and seeking new volunteers in our school & church planting venture over here.
