Summer 2021 at Grace Bible Church

Summer 2021 Outdoor Service Plan

Starting on June 6th we will be moving to one outdoor service at 10:30am for the summer months (June-Sept). This will allow us to gather our whole church family together, as well as provide an opportunity for more of our church family to safely join us again outdoors.

In addition to the immediate benefits we will experience by having fewer COVID restrictions (masks, distancing, etc), there are some incredible long-term benefits that we will experience by having one outdoor service for the summer:
  • This will be an opportunity for our whole church to meet together as one body.
  • Our kids will get to be a part of the corporate worship service in these family-style services.
  • Our children's ministry workers from the older classrooms will get a break.
  • Our worship teams and pastors will only have to do one service in the summer.
  • New opportunities for service will be created for people to get involved.
  • Following the service we will have a "cookout" lunch and fellowship time together every Sunday.
  • We get to enjoy the beautiful weather and creation of Central Oregon!

We are looking forward to being outdoors for a portion of the summer this year and for years to come.

There are two ways that you can help us make these summer worship gatherings happen:

1. you can help by serving this summer

There are a number of people that will be needed to help with set up, tear down, and the cookout lunches. To join one of these teams you can let us know by filling out the form below.

2. you can help us financially

If you would like to give an offering (above your regular giving) to help towards the cost, you can donate online using the link below, or you can reach out to Scott Lamoreaux at [email protected] if you want to make a stock donation or give a designated gift.
I can't wait to have everyone together again!  Please pray that God will use these services to glorify His name in Central Oregon and bring many people to faith in Jesus Christ!

In His love and service,
Pastor Phil
