Remember to bring your bottles and cans (those for which you paid a deposit for reimbursement at the grocery store) to the OOK recycle bins on the north side of the administration building after church on Sundays. There will be a friendly attendant there to help you deposit them. If you need to drop them off at another time, just leave your bags on the pallet in front of the recycle bins and we will take care of them. Thanks from the children and the board of the Orphanages of Kenya!
Did you miss last week’s sermon? Watch “Motivation to Pray” from Luke 11:5-13.
This Sunday we will look together at Luke 14:15-24, as we continue our summer sermon series on The Parables of Jesus. We encourage you to read ahead and come prepared to hear from God’s word.

September Church Planter Highlight | Rick & Ali Reeves
In 2015, church planter Rick Reeves and his wife Ali moved from Nevada to Eugene, Oregon to plant Gospel Community Church. The church will celebrate its four-year anniversary in October of this year. They started the church with six couples, and have seen God multiply them and shape all of their lives since that time. The church has recently moved locations into the heart of downtown Eugene. God continues to multiply them, and they are thankful for the shepherding team that stands beside them and helps to carry the weight of loving and caring for GCC. This next year they hope to focus on making disciples, multiplying their leaders, and gaining traction through new discipleship groups. They also want to see their church actively engaging downtown Eugene, planting roots there, and taking the gospel to their city.
