We’re excited to have child dedications coming up again during our Sunday service on December 9th! Child dedications are a time where parents pledge to raise their children up “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord,” and where the church family promises to support the parents in their efforts. If you are interested in dedicating your child, please email Andrew at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord this Christmas! We will have our regular Sunday morning service on December 23rd at 9:30 am, as well as a candlelight Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 5:00 pm. We look forward to celebrating together!
After sending out many faithful servants to go help plant Grace Bible Redmond, we have a need for eight more adults to serve in our Children’s Ministry. We are looking for seven classroom assistants and one classroom leader, across a broad range of age groups. If you would like to help out in this area, contact Andrew Sullivan at email@example.com.
Grace is looking for a part time Graphic Designer & Creative Team Lead. Check out the linked job description and send in your resume if you’re interested!JOB DESCRIPTION
Because the City is going to be closing at the end of this year, we are transitioning all online giving over to a new platform called Planning Center Giving. We apologize for the inconvenience of this change, but we believe Planning Center will provide a better user experience in the long run. Please transition over to Planning Center as soon as you can for your online giving to Grace.PLANNING CENTER GIVING
We’d like to remind you that Orphanages of Kenya has provided a bottle and can drop-off at GBC as a way to raise money for the ministry. Bring your recyclable cans and bottles to church on Sundays and deposit them in the drop-off located on the north side of the administration building. It will be open every Sunday after church on an ongoing basis. There will be a team member there to assist you with your deposits. For more detailed information on how and what to donate, click on the “more information” button below.MORE INFORMATION
Did you miss last week’s sermon? Watch “The End of Bitterness” from Ruth 1:20-2:3.
This Sunday we will look together at Ruth 2:4-17, as we continue our study of the book of Ruth. We encourage you to read ahead and come prepared to hear from God’s word.

November Missionary Highlight | Doug & Ruth Harrison
In 2004, Doug and Ruth Harrison were sent to a strategic country in Central Asia to assist in a humanitarian aid project whose primary mission was to introduce isolated people to the name, nature, and person of Jesus Christ. After the completion of the project in 2009, they returned to the United States. Following a short period of service at their home church, the Harrisons accepted a role with their missions agency where God used their spiritual gifts of exhortation, service and discernment to help weary and distressed missionaries to “stay the course.” Since then, Doug has moved into the role of the Director of Technical Resources, and Ruth has continued as the Director of Member Care.
