Grace Bible Youth is excited to announce our second annual Winter Retreat! From February 15th to 17th, we’ll be digging into God’s Word, worshipping together, and having a blast out in the snow and all around Bend. Click on the link below for more information and to register.

Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). But what do loving relationships really look like? How does love affect how we relate to others at home and in the life of the church? How should love affect our leadership toward others? “Leading With Love” is a conference designed to explore those questions, as Alexander Strauch teaches us what Paul said to the church in 1 Corinthians 13. This conference will show you how the Bible’s teaching on love can help you improve your relationship skills, be more effective in the ministry God has called you to, and help you resolve conflict and division. Early registration ends February 10th!

At our Annual Meeting the church family overwhelmingly affirmed all of the elder candidates and current elders. We’re so thankful that the Lord has raised up these men to help shepherd and lead the church. We’ll be having an elder installation service on February 24th during the service.

If you missed the annual meeting, you can pick up a copy of the Annual Report at the Info Booth on Sunday. If you would like to see an online copy of the report you can view it at the link below.

Want to grow in your Christian faith? Better understand who God is and what the Bible teaches? Meet with a mentor for guidance about specific areas of Christian living? Or maybe you’re just curious about Christianity? We’d love to match you with a mature Christian trained in discipling and mentoring others for 12 weeks starting in March. Available for individuals and couples. If you’d like to receive discipleship/mentoring please click the button below. If you have any questions please call our Counseling and Discipleship Director, Dave Robinson at 541-325-9340.

Join us on March 3rd after service for a short informational meeting about worship ministry at GBC. We will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room (next to the coffee station) for about 30 minutes. This will be a great time to get to know one another, learn about the worship ministry, and see how you can get involved.

Registration is now open for Man Camp 2019 at Washington Family Ranch! This year the speaker will be Ty Neal, pastor of Grace Point Church in Las Vegas. You won’t want to miss what is always a fantastic and valuable time! The early bird registration cost is $135, and includes food and lodging. For more information, go to mancampnw.com.

We are in need of a team of volunteers to serve on the meal crew for Man Camp, which is April 26-28th at Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon. There is no cost to serve, and you will be provided separate lodging with the rest of the volunteers. Responsibilities for the weekend will include helping with meal prep, serving meals, washing dishes, and cleaning the dining hall. One of the ways Washington Family Ranch is able to keep registration costs down is through the help of volunteer meal crews, so your help is greatly appreciated!

We’d like to remind you that Orphanages of Kenya has provided a bottle and can drop-off at GBC as a way to raise money for the ministry. Bring your recyclable cans and bottles to church on Sundays and deposit them in the drop-off located on the north side of the administration building. It will be open every Sunday after church on an ongoing basis. There will be a team member there to assist you with your deposits. For more detailed information on how and what to donate, click on the “more information” button below.

Did you miss last week’s sermon? Watch “The Promised One is Here” from Acts 2:1-13.

Sunday Gathering

This Sunday we will look together at Acts 2:14-21, as we continue our sermon series on the book of Acts. We encourage you to read ahead and come prepared to hear from God’s word.

February Missionary Highlight | Josh & Kristen Morneau

Josh and Kristen Morneau are new full-time missionaries in Slovenia with Josiah Venture. Josiah Venture focuses on relational ministry with a heart for youth in Central and Eastern Europe. With Kristen’s degree in teaching and Josh’s in music, they were a natural fit for Josiah Venture’s Fusion ministry, which uses music as a tool to reach young people. Through these relationships, they share about Jesus and equip young leaders to fulfill Christ’s commission through the local church. Since arriving in the city of Ljubljana in November 2018, Josh & Kristen have been immersed in full-time language study. After a year of learning the language, they expect to be sent out to begin a new Fusion ministry, and hope to see a new movement of God among the youth in Slovenia.
