Grace Bible Church

Phil Kooistra is the lead Pastor and primary teaching elder of Grace Bible Church.  Phil is 35 years old and has a wonderful wife of almost 15 years and 3 beautiful children.  Phil graduated from the Masters Seminary in 2003 with a Masters of Divinity and had served in various student ministries since 1996.  Previous to planting Grace Bible Church of Bend, Phil was the Student Ministry Pastor at Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles from June of 2003-June of 2011.  The desire of Pastor Phil’s heart is to glorify God, by using his life and gifts to help people follow the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is committed to preaching the eternal truths of God’s Holy Word and calling people to live as the body of Christ in community with one another.

To assist Phil in the early stages of Grace Bible Church there is also an elder advisory team that is made up of three pastors outside of Grace.

In addition to the Elder Advisory team, there is also a financial advisory and accountability team that is made up of two men outside of Grace and two men who are a part of Grace Bible.
