Grace Bible Church

Our Story…

Grace Bible Church of Bend started on June 26, 2011 when 3 families sent out from Independent Bible Church in Port Angeles Wa. moved to Bend Oregon to be part of a new church.   These three families were joined by a number of other families already living in Bend who had a similar dream.  This dream was to plant a church that sought to glorify God by exalting Jesus Christ and being an authentic community of believers who sought to live as the Body of Christ and the Family of God.  This community of believers would desire to be characterized by the following values.

God’s Glory not Ours

Word driven not Fad Chasing

Family not Consumers

Body Not Professionals

Never too big too not be small

Warfare not theatre

Maturity not Size

Service not Consumption

Simplicity not Busyness

Gospel centered not Consumer driven

The Ultimate goal:  The name of Jesus Christ will be honored, the Glory of God will be displayed through his Church, and the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ will be clearly lived out and presented for people to accept or reject.
