Community Groups are where church becomes family. We gather as a church on Sunday mornings to worship together and hear the Word preached, but then we gather in a smaller, more informal setting inside people’s homes to care for each other and apply Scripture to our lives. Community Groups gather once a week. Members will share a meal together, care for each other, discuss the sermon from that Sunday, and then apply it to their lives. Community Groups are the primary vehicle for shepherding, counseling, and care within our church. They are the first line of defense, so to speak, when needs of various kinds come up for the people in the church.
If you are interested in checking out a Community Group, give the group leader a call to find out more information about that group. You can find all of our groups’ locations, meeting times, and contact information on the inside of this brochure. Use that to determine the group that fits you the best, and then feel free to check a few out before settling in. If you are interested in finding out more about our philosophy of Community Groups, we’d be happy to discuss that with you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you might have.
The map below shows the approximate location of each of our Community Groups. To find out the address of a group you’re interested in checking out and also to let the group leader know you’ll be attending, use the contact info provided by clicking on a map icon. You can also filter by meeting day, location, or childcare below the map. Map icons marked in red represent groups that are full at this time.
